# Scene 2D

## Introduction

The **Scene 2D** **Nodes** correspond to *CSS* stylesheets which can style all 2D GUI Elements in **Incari**. These characteristics range from things like font, background color, and border triggering animations with the "transition" property or adding smooth highlighting of a button when it is pressed. The user can style anything which is possible with [*CSS2*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CSS).

These **Nodes** apply to the `CSS File` **Attribute** for a [**Scene2D**](/incari-studio/objects-and-types/project-objects/scene2d.md).
