# Set Active Dropdown Index

## Overview

The **Set Active Dropdown Index Node** sets the `Active Index` of a [**Dropdown Object**](https://docs.incari.com/incari-studio/2024.1/objects-and-types/scene2d-objects/gui/dropdown). The `Active Index` is the number representing the place in the **Dropdown Object's** order an `Option` is in.

## Inputs

| Input             | Type         | Description                                                           |
| ----------------- | ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| *Pulse Input* (►) | **Pulse**    | A standard **Input Pulse**, to trigger the execution of the **Node**. |
| `Object ID`       | **ObjectID** | The **Dropdown Object** whose `Active Index` will be set.             |
| `Index`           | **Int**      | The **Dropdown Object's** `Active Index` to be set.                   |

## Outputs
