# Label

## Introduction

The **Label Node** provides a means for a user to get the **Text** of an already created **Label Object**. A **Label** is a type of **2D** or **3D Object** and can be found in the **Scene Outliner Module**. **Labels** are useful for adding text-based information to a **User Interface**, such as the description of a dashboard feature.
